Training
In case anyone has missed it, it’s worth repeating that we’ve resumed training after Christmas and New Year :-). Sessions are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, so there are plenty of opportunities to show the instructors that you’re actively training and, among other things, getting ready for grading 🙂
Easter
There are training sessions on both Tuesday during Easter week (Tuesday 31 March) and Easter Sunday (Sunday 5 April). There is no training on Maundy Thursday.
Grading
We will be holding grading at the end of June for grades up to 3rd kyu (green belt). Candidates will be contacted in the coming weeks and set up with specific training. Grades from 2nd kyu and above are handled separately due to the requirement for external examiners. The exact date will be announced as soon as we have finalised the plans.
MAAS Joint Training
To be held in Humlebæk on 15–17 May (the day after Ascension Day). This is a new joint training session with a different association, which we haven’t tried before. However, we know some of the instructors from elsewhere. More information. We’ll be leaving from Aarhus on 15 May at around 12 noon and will be back on 17 May at around 4 pm. The cost for training and meals is 600 kr.
Sign up by emailing us. We’ll then organise a club registration. Simon is definitely coming along.
Once we know who’s coming, we’ll sort out transport.
City trip
Will be in mid-June as usual. If anyone has any good suggestions for activities or places to eat, please let us know.
Summer camp
Taking place 28 June – 4 July at Højer Efterskole. The biggest party and training get-together of the year. You have to come! (No training at our own Dojo that week).
