Checklist for courses, summer camps, joint training sessions, etc.

Below is a checklist you can use to remember what to bring to a joint training session, course, summer camp or anyother of our activities.

Be sure to read the invitation or ask one of the instructors if there is anything special you need to bring for a given activity.

To keep the price level down for the participants, we usually spend the night in the training hall (dojo) and therefore air mattress, bed linen, etc. are also on the list. For some summer camps it will be possible to stay in fixed beds, so you don't need to bring an air mattress. Check on a case-by-case basis. If it doesn't say anything about fixed beds, expect to have to bring something to sleep on and in.

Of course, what you need to bring for a week or a weekend is different. Decide for yourself what you think you'll need along the way.

For training:

  • Gi (preferably several or find a way to wash during the activity 🙂 )
  • Towel
  • Shampoo
  • T-shirts (for no-gi training. Preferably ones that is OK to get torn or being drawn on)
  • For summer camp you may also need
    • Gym clothes (for evening activities and other goodies)
    • Clothes that can withstand getting wet (for maybe some water fighting and water polo)
