Grading

Will be held on 19 June. Those who are ready to graduate have already been notified.

We expect to hold a new grading in early October and then again as usual in December.

Summer party

Will be held on Saturday, 21 June. We are working on making a trip to Randers Rainforest the active part of the programme. Afterwards, we will return to Aarhus for dinner and then find some places that would benefit from our visit.

Save the date now, and we will provide more information about the programme as soon as we have it finalised. As usual, participants are responsible for their own expenses.

Summer camp

This year, the summer camp will be in Fredericia in week 27. It starts on Sunday 29 June and ends on 5 July. You can join us for the whole week or just for a few days. If you only want to train on certain days, most training sessions are on Monday and Tuesday.

This year, Aarhus is providing three instructors for the camp, so it will naturally be world class. There will be plenty of other instructors to choose from 😊

Once we know who has signed up, we will arrange carpooling. Some people are already signing up for the whole week and some are only coming from Sunday to Tuesday, so there should be opportunities for almost everyone to arrange carpooling.

The deadline for registration is 9 June, so hurry up and go to djuportalen.dk and sign up. Remember that you must be a member of Ju-Jitsu Denmark to get the good price. You have to be a member anyway, so if you are not yet, sign up at Ju-Jitsu Denmark registration.

Club of the Year and Volunteer of the Year

Every year, Ju-Jitsu Denmark selects a club and an individual to be named Club of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. You (or several people from your club) can nominate someone you think deserves this honour.

Nominations must be sent to the DJU secretariat (dju@dju.dk) no later than Saturday 31 May (yes, the deadline is short; we received the material on 16 May). There is still time!
